Dr. Katie Peeples (formerly Dr. Katie Welch) specializes in caring for pregnant and postpartum women and infants, with a clinical focus on feeding function, nervous system regulation, and early development.

She was born and raised in Lakeland, FL. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Miami and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2018. In 2020, she was named one of Tampa's Chiropractors of the Year by Tampa Style Magazine.  

After moving back to Lakeland to open Achieve in 2022, Dr. Katie’s practice naturally evolved into infant and perinatal care. Now she spends the majority of her time supporting babies and their families through some of the most important and often challenging early stages. Her work often includes helping infants with feeding difficulties, tension patterns, and mobility restrictions that can impact comfort, latch, and overall function.

Dr. Katie is Webster Certified for pregnancy and has advanced training in infant Craniosacral Therapy (CST). She takes a collaborative, team-based approach to care—working closely with lactation consultants and pediatric dentists to support families both before, during, and after procedures such as oral tie releases, and in many cases, helping families improve function in a way that may reduce the need for intervention.

She is also a co-founder of the SWANN Collaborative, a multidisciplinary network of providers dedicated to supporting women and newborns through coordinated, evidence-informed care.

Dr. Katie believes that knowledge is power and that patients deserve to feel informed, supported, and confident in their care. Her goal is to create a space where families feel heard, babies can move more comfortably, and care is both thoughtful and sustainable.

When she’s not in the office, you can usually find her reading fantasy novels, crafting with friends, or spending time outdoors with her husband and their corgi, Donut.
