Meet the Doctor

Dr. Katie Peeples (formerly Dr. Katie Welch) was born and raised in Lakeland, FL. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Miami and earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2018. Since her graduation she has been providing the Tampa Bay area with evidenced-based chiropractic care. In 2020, she was named one of Tampa's Chiropractors of the Year by Tampa Style Magazine. In 2022, she moved back to Lakeland to open Achieve Chiropractic Care. 

Dr. Katie has a passion for providing everyone—from infants to athletes—with holistic health care. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has additional training to treat children and infants. She has been trained in infant Craniosacral Therapy (CST). Dr. Peeples is also certified in the Webster Technique, designed specifically for pregnant women to help increase mother’s comfort and ensure optimal positioning of the baby for birth. 

As an athlete herself, Dr. Katie knows the importance of soft tissue work and has been certified in HawkGrips Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM).

Dr. Peeples lives in Lakeland and in her free time she can be found doing hot yoga, crafting, enjoying live music, cheering on the Lightning or Bucs, or hiking with her husband and their corgi, Donut.
